the above picture is of ben at the democrat national convention! Zooey Deschanel is the woman in the picture, and Jenny Lewis and Jonathon Rice were also playing along with the guy from Nada Surf. They basically each played a couple of songs, Ben did the sound of settling and brand new colony, as well as this is the dream of evan and chan (im pretty sure) with zooey.
links to various death cab/bg songs cant be upped as hotlinkfiles is being a twat, so mediafrie links im afraid

onto barack, although i dont usually talk politics here, ill make an exception for senator obama.
Bill Clinton said:
"Everything I learned in my eight years as president, and in the work I have done since in America and across the globe, has convinced me that Barack Obama is the man for this job. He has a remarkable ability to inspire people, to raise our hopes and rally us to high purpose. He has the intelligence and curiosity every successful president needs."
Hilary Clinton said:
"Whether you voted for me, or you voted for Barack, the time is now to unite as a single party with a single purpose. We are on the same team, and none of us can afford to sit on the sidelines. This is a fight for the future. And it's a fight we must win together."
Al Gore said:
"His experience has also given him genuine respect for different views and humility, in the face of complex realities that cannot be squeezed into the narrow compartments of ideology.
His experience has taught him something that career politicians often overlook: that inconvenient truths must be acknowledged if we are to have wise governance."
Barack Obama said:
"We meet at one of those defining moments - a moment when our nation is at war, our economy is in turmoil, and the American promise has been threatened once more."
"Tonight, I say to the American people, to Democrats and Republicans and Independents across this great land - enough! This moment - this election - is our chance to keep, in the 21st century, the American promise alive. Because next week, in Minnesota, the same party that brought you two terms of George Bush and Dick Cheney will ask this country for a third. And we are here because we love this country too much to let the next four years look like the last eight. On November 4th, we must stand up and say: "Eight is enough.""
and much more....If only europe could vote in this election haha...
